Training Designed to Terminate at a Job, Not a Certificate
At the heart of the iDICE Skills-to-Jobs initiative is a deliberate and planned commitment to employment, not just certification. Six implementing partners, each anchored in each of Nigeria’s six geo-political zones, have been competitively selected to train and actively connect the programme graduates to job opportunities in Nigeria’s growing internet-based and distinctive economy and the international outsourcing market.
The programme targets an employment linkage rate of at least 80 percent of trained beneficiaries; this translates to job opportunities for a minimum of 240,000 young Nigerians upon completing their training.
Participants will be trained across three tracks – Essential, Intermediate, and High-degree, each designed to encounter learners where they are and develop progressively towards job-prepared competencies. This programme offers an invaluable pathway.“
