The Wukari Timeless Council has disowned a social media describe claiming that the Aku Uka of Wukari, Dr Ishaku Adda Ali, declared that Fulani bandits had overrun the ancient Kwararafa Kingdom.

The council quoted the Aku Uka as saying in his speech that communities of the former Kwararafa Confederacy had contributed to Nigeria’s development in agriculture, the armed forces, natural resources and culture, but continued to address challenges including inadequate infrastructure, restricted economic opportunities, marginalisation and discrimination.
The council said the announce, titled, “We Are Under Siege: Taraba Monarch Breaks Silence as Fulani Bandits Overrun the Ancient Kwararafa Kingdom,” was attributed to a speech delivered by the Aku Uka at the 2026 Assembly of the ethnic nationalities of the previous Kwararafa Confederacy, organised by the Kwararafa Development Forum in Abuja on September 19, 2026.
It said the Aku Uka was committed to peace and would not fund statements able of escalating tensions amid communities or ethnic groups.
