The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Business (ACCI) has efficiently performed a two-day capacity-building coaching for 15 drivers of the chamber, via its Enterprise Expertise and Know-how (BEST) Centre.

On the Capability Constructing Programme on Friday in Abuja, Dr Tinuke Temitope, Director, ACCI BEST Centre, mentioned that the coaching was designed to boost drivers’ security consciousness, professionalism and technical competence.

Temitope mentioned that the theme of the coaching titled was, “Driving to Security: Defensive Driving and Car Dealing with Methods”.

In keeping with her, the coaching was meant to bolster ACCI’s dedication to workers improvement and street security.

She mentioned that the members have been additionally skilled on hazard recognition and house administration, with sensible insights on figuring out street dangers, anticipating the actions of different street customers and sustaining secure following distances.

“The coaching featured complete classes on defensive driving rules, the roles and obligations {of professional} drivers and the significance of drivers serving as ambassadors of their organisations.

“Extra classes centered on skilled conduct and efficient communication, highlighting self-discipline, emotional intelligence, stress administration, and accountable conduct whereas driving,’’ she mentioned.

The director mentioned that the members had interactive group discussions, including that such would provide them alternatives to share experiences, ask questions, and apply newly acquired abilities to real-life driving conditions.

She mentioned that the programme outfitted members with important competencies in defensive driving, automobile dealing with, hazard administration and post-incident response.

“Via sensible engagement and expert-led discussions, drivers strengthened their security consciousness and skill to handle real-world driving challenges successfully.’’

She mentioned that making use of the data gained would considerably enhance their professionalism, effectivity and security efficiency on the street.
