AFCON 2025: 4 groups qualify for quarter-finals

Cameroon turned the fourth staff to qualify for the quarter-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Indomitable Lions held on following a late combat again to beat South Africa 2-1 in Rabat on Sunday evening.

Junior Tchamadeu opened the scoring within the thirty fourth minute of the match.

Two minutes after the restart, Christian Kofane doubled Cameroon’s benefit, as they gave the impression to be strolling to victory.

However Proof Makgopa’s managed completed within the 88th minute for Bafana Bafana offered a tense ending.

Cameroon now joins international locations like Morocco, Mali and Senegal within the final eight of the match.
