AFCON 2025: Morocco to play winner of Nigeria vs Algeria in semi-final

Morocco have certified for the semi-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, as they proceed their quest to win the trophy on dwelling soil.

The Atlas Lions booked their spot with a 2-0 win over Cameroon on Friday evening.

Brahim Diaz gave the hosts the lead within the twenty sixth minute of play, as he continues to shine on the event.

With the Indomitable Lions combating to equalize within the second half, Morocco doubled their benefit.

Ismael Saibairi made it 2-0, lashing dwelling from a corner-kick, to substantiate the victory.

Morocco will now face the winner of the quarter-final fixture between Nigeria and Algeria.
