The Tremendous Eagles are set to face Mozambique within the final 16 of the continued 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
This was confirmed following the conclusion of Group F fixtures on Wednesday night time.
Mozambique booked their spot regardless of throwing away their result in lose 2-1 to Cameroon.
They completed in third place behind Ivory Coast and the Indomitable Lions.
Nigeria’s spot was confirmed after their first two group fixtures. However they completed as Group C winners after beating Uganda 3-1 on Tuesday.
Eric Chelle’s males will play Mozambique on Tuesday in Fez, Morocco for a spot within the quarter-finals.
Kick off is 8pm WAT.
