Mr Dayo Alebiosu, Lagos State Commissioner for Waterfront and Infrastructure Improvement, says the state’s waterfront agenda is pushed by legislation, imaginative and prescient and efficient planning.

Alebiosu mentioned on Friday that the agenda was not pushed by political concerns or private connections.

He spoke with journalists on Lagos State waterfront growth, regulation and planning.

The official mentioned that competence and intent, quite than sentiments or politics, had guided authorities choices within the sector.

 

“Waterfront is a technical house. Our focus is on legislation, planning and growth.

 

“It’s not about politics or the place anybody comes from,” he mentioned.

 

He cautioned in opposition to makes an attempt to politicise skilled appointments and coverage choices.

 

Alebiosu, a former member of the Federal Home of Representatives, mentioned there have been alternatives throughout the state and they need to be approached with imaginative and prescient quite than suspicion.

“There’s water in Kosofe. If growth can occur in Ilashe, it might occur elsewhere,” he mentioned.
