Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri, has signed the state’s 2026 Appropriation Invoice into legislation.

This was contained in a press release by his Chief Press Secretary, Daniel Alabrah, on Tuesday.

Diri had initially introduced a finances of N991.371 million to the state Home of Meeting, however the legislature elevated it to N1.01 trillion.

The assertion mentioned Diri additionally assented to 2026 six different payments on Tuesday inside Authorities Home, Yenagoa.

The opposite legislations are the Rural Entry Funds Regulation 2025, Rural Entry Highway Authority Regulation 2025, Water Sector Regulation 2025, Statistics Regulation 2025, Harmonised Taxes and Levies Accredited Listing for Assortment Regulation 2025 and the Bayelsa Medical College Modification Regulation 2025.

Ingobere mentioned it was a logo of appreciation for the strides made in enhancing the lives of Bayelsans from infrastructure growth to healthcare, public utilities, schooling and agriculture, amongst others.
