Staff of Federal Capital Territory Administration below the Joint Union Motion Congress (JUAC) have appealed for pressing motion on unresolved welfare points affecting their morale and productiveness.

The President of the union, Mrs  Rifkatu Iortyer, made the enchantment at a information briefing in Abuja on Friday.

Iortyer defined that the purpose of the information convention was to attract the eye of the FCT Administration to the long-standing points troubling employees throughout Ministries, Departments and Businesses (SDAs).

“We demand that every one wage desk officers within the varied SDAs be allowed to organize salaries of their respective SDAs,” she stated.

Different points, she stated, included the absence of a monetary threshold for Everlasting Secretaries (PS) and Heads of SDAs, and elongation of tenure for some retired administrators and PS.

“We demand the instant removing of those officers and their alternative with certified and deserving officers,” Iortyer stated,

She additionally listed different considerations because the non-payment of excellent wage award, unpaid promotion arrears, poor working situations and workers intimidation and lack of coaching and retaining.

The president added that the employees additionally rejected the mass failure recorded within the 2024 promotion examination and demanded its reversals.

“We demand instant motion on these points and we’ll proceed to boost our voices till these points are addressed.
