The Worldwide Pink Cross has boosted Katsina State’s battle towards malnutrition with the donation of about 4,117 cartons, containing 600,500 packs of Prepared-to-Use Therapeutic Meals (RUTF).

Mr Bala Abdullahi-Hussaini, the Secretary of the state’s department of the organisation, disclosed this throughout a gathering with journalists in Katsina.

He additional defined that the intervention by the state’s main well being care company was aimed toward supporting the state authorities’s ongoing diet response.

Abdullahi-Hussaini additionally disclosed that Bindawa, Zango and Kankia Native Authorities Areas (LGAs) had already benefited from the RUTF distribution.

Based on him, the donation comes as a part of the humanitarian organisation’s dedication to strengthening diet providers throughout weak communities.

He added that the donation of RUTF was to make sure that kids affected by Extreme Acute Malnutrition (SAM) acquired well timed and life-saving therapy.
