The Nigerian Alternate Restricted (NGX) has admitted further N3.99 billion price of Chams Holding Firm Plc shares on the bourse.  

NGX in a submitting said that the corporate has listed 2.348 billion further abnormal shares on the Alternate, rising its complete issued and totally paid-up share capital.

In a discover, the NGX mentioned, “Buying and selling licence holders are hereby notified that further 2.348 billion abnormal shares of fifty kobo every of Chams Holding Firm have been on December 23, 2025, listed on the day by day official checklist of Nigerian Alternate Restricted.”

It added that, the extra shares arose from the Firm’s rights problem of two.348 billion abnormal shares of fifty kobo every at N1.70 per share on the idea of 1 new share for each two abnormal shares held as at shut of enterprise on June 16, 2025. 

“With the itemizing of the extra shares, the entire issued and totally paid-up shares of Chams Holding Firm has now elevated from 6.652 billion to 9 billion abnormal shares of fifty kobo every, ” it confused. 

The corporate performed a significant rights problem in mid-2025, aiming to boost round N3.99 billion by providing 2.348 billion new shares at N1.70 every (one new share for each two held) to present shareholders, opened August 8, 2025, and closed late September after an extension, with funds earmarked for increasing digital identification, funds, and constructing a card plant to spice up progress. The profitable capital increase improved the corporate’s capital base, liquidity, and strategic place in Africa’s fintech house.

The chairman, Chams Holding Firm, Demola Aladekomo, in a letter to shareholders said, “Because of the advances in expertise, the fast evolution of the enterprise of identification administration, fee assortment, and transactional programs options in Nigeria and modifications within the working panorama, it’s crucial that Chams stays agile, adaptable, and correctly positioned to reply appropriately to developments, while remaining a aggressive and forward-looking establishment.

“To make sure that Chams is properly positioned to navigate doable headwinds within the economic system and reap the benefits of rising enterprise alternatives, the Firm’s Administration staff seeks to undertake landmark initiatives and enterprise initiatives that may redefine Chams’ enterprise construction, diversify its earnings base and finally develop its market share in the actual sector of the economic system.”
