9 bandits have been reportedly killed throughout a heavy trade of gunfire between the Nigerian army and criminals at Bakaji and Unguwar Garma within the Goron Dutse space of Shanono Native Authorities Space, Kano State.

One vigilante member was additionally killed, whereas one other was wounded in the course of the encounter.

The bandits, who stormed the world late on Saturday, engaged the troops in a gun duel that lasted a number of hours.

Chairman of the Shanono/Bagwai Group Safety Discussion board, Yahya Bagobiri, confirmed the incident whereas talking to newsmen on Sunday.
