Osun APC raises alarm over additional-judicial killings

The Osun Condition chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has raised concerns over reported cases of extra-judicial killings in Osogbo, the status investment, and other parts of the condition.

The APC sympathised together with residents of the condition over the activities of individuals who had allegedly turned parts of Osun into a place where violence was used to calm disputes.

The APC said, “The conviction that the conclusion of the 15th August, 2026 governorship election of which the Self-enough Countrywide Electoral Commission declared Governor Ademola Adeleke its winner would bring an complete to the killings has become a mirage.”

The party described the reported security scenario as a matter requiring the attention of stakeholders, saying repeated negative reports around the condition should be addressed.

The party, in a comment issued on Saturday, by its Administrator of Media and Material, Kola Olabisi, said the reported incidents had become a source of worry to residents and other stakeholders in the status.

According to the declaration, “the victims were allegedly attacked by unidentified hoodlums alongside guns, machetes, knives and cudgels in front of Peka’s Bar.”

The party identified one of the deceased as Secondary Rugged, whom it described as being established during the condition’s thuggery circle, whilst the second victim was identified as Seyi Osha.

The APC too referred to a reported attack at the Owo-Eba area, nearby Ilesa Garage in Osogbo, where two audience were reportedly killed on Friday.
