Police operatives have arrested a suspected cultist and armed robber, in addition to a suspect present in possession of illicit medicine, alongside the restoration of weapons and managed substances in Delta State.
Disclosing this in an announcement on Sunday, the spokesman of the Delta State Police Command, Vibrant Edafe, recognized the suspect as Present Ojulowo.
He stated 4 different suspects fled upon sighting the police who have been conducting patrols alongside Hausa Market, Ubeji.
The Command’s spokesman said that the hoodlums have been loitering suspiciously within the early hours of Saturday after they sighted police operatives and fled the scene.
“Upon sighting the police workforce, the suspects took to their heels and fled in several instructions,” the assertion learn.
“The operatives gave chase and, within the course of, one Present Ojulowo, male, 30 years, of New Format, Ubeji, was apprehended,” the assertion stated.

Edafe stated a search of Ojulowo led to the restoration of a domestically fabricated gun and two stay cartridges, hid in his trousers.
Throughout interrogation, the suspect confessed to being a member of the Aye Confraternity cult group.
“The suspect and recovered displays are presently in police custody, whereas preliminary investigation is ongoing.
“Efforts have been intensified to establish, monitor, and arrest different fleeing members of the gang for potential prosecution,” the Command’s spokesman stated.
In a separate operation, operatives of the Raiders Unit, performing on credible intelligence, arrested a 43-year-old male, Obi Onuigbi Ndubuoso, on January 8, 2026, at about 1:30 p.m.
“Skilled search performed on the suspect resulted within the restoration of thirty-six (36) bottles of illicit medicine, popularly generally known as Laughing Fuel (Nitrous Oxide),” Edafe said.
It was famous that Akanya Agbogha, Commander of the Raiders Unit, supervised the operation, and the suspect and displays are presently in police custody.
In accordance with the Command, investigations are ongoing to hint the sources and distribution channels of the medicine.
