The Kano State Police Command has arrested three principal suspects in reference to the grotesque homicide of a housewife and her six kids at Dorayi Chiranchi Quarters, Kano.
Based on a press launch issued on Sunday, the arrests adopted intelligence-led operations carried out on the directive of the Inspector-Basic of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun.
The operation was coordinated below the management of the Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori.
Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, disclosed that the suspects had been arrested throughout a sting operation that lasted by way of the night time.

Police revealed that Umar Auwalu, alleged to be the chief of the syndicate and a nephew of the deceased, confessed to orchestrating the assault.
“Throughout interrogation, the principal suspect confessed to the crime and additional admitted that the syndicate had been concerned in a number of violent assaults within the latest previous, together with the killing and burning of two housewives at Tudun Yola Quarters,” the Command’s spokesperson said.
Objects recovered from the suspects embody blood-stained garments, two cell phones belonging to the deceased, a cutlass, a membership (regionally often called gora), and an undisclosed amount of money allegedly stolen from the crime scene.
