The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has criticised the Federal Authorities over Nigeria’s new tax legal guidelines, describing them as insensitive to the hardship confronted by odd residents.
In an interview on Channels Tv’s Politics At the moment on Tuesday, the social gathering’s Nationwide Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, faulted the legal guidelines.

The Federal Authorities lately launched 4 tax reform legal guidelines, which took impact on January 1, 2026.
Controversy arose over alleged discrepancies between the variations handed by the Nationwide Meeting and the gazetted legal guidelines.
Chairman of the Presidential Fiscal Coverage and Tax Reforms Committee, Taiwo Oyedele, dismissed circulating variations as “pretend” drafts, whereas the Home of Representatives launched Licensed True Copies to make sure transparency.
