A 19-year-old driver, recognized as Nsikak Okon, has been apprehended by the police following a collection of high-speed, reckless manoeuvres that left three law enforcement officials injured in Edo State.
The Public Relations Officer for the Nigeria Police Pressure, Benjamin Hundeyin, detailed the harrowing incident on his official X deal with on Friday, whereas reacting to a viral video of the suspect’s eventual arrest.
Hundeyin mentioned Okon was driving a closely tinted car with no license plates when he first encountered officers on the street.
“You have been driving a completely and closely tinted car with out quantity plates. You met law enforcement officials on the street and sped previous in a really reckless method,” Hundeyin wrote. “In your means again, you sped previous once more, practically pulling down an officer. And in what seems to be very deliberate, you got here again once more with the identical reckless pace, this time efficiently pulling down three officers,” he added.
