President Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria on Saturday after he and a few of his ministers participated within the 2026 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW2026).

A press release by Bayo Onanuga, Particular Adviser to the President on Data & Technique, disclosed that on the sidelines of the summit, Nigeria signed a Complete Financial Partnership Settlement (CEPA) with the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

“The settlement goals to deepen financial cooperation, increase bilateral commerce and funding, improve expertise switch, and develop collaboration throughout key sectors, together with power, infrastructure, agriculture, mining, and renewable power,” he mentioned.

In his deal with, the assertion famous that President Tinubu introduced {that a} joint Nigeria-United Arab Emirates (UAE) INVESTOPIA shall be held in Lagos in February, an initiative geared toward attracting world buyers.

“President Tinubu additionally informed the Summit that Nigeria goals to mobilise as much as $30 billion yearly in local weather and inexperienced industrial finance because it accelerates power transition reforms and expands nationwide electrical energy entry,” it added.
