A batch of newly recruited workers of the Central Financial institution of Nigeria (CBN) has raised alarm over what they describe as unexplained delays of their posting and onboarding since August 28, 2023.

Addressing journalists on the Nigerian Union of Journalists press centre in Bauchi, Emmanuel Linus Dabo, who spoke on behalf of others on Monday, mentioned: “All of us tendered resignation letters at the moment to allow us proceed with the CBN course of.”

Dabo mentioned all profitable candidates have been later contacted to go to the CBN headquarters in Abuja to gather provide letters, which have been instantly signed and returned.
