Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has accredited the appointment of Professor Mohammed Bashir Tahir because the substantive Vice-Chancellor of Yobe State College, Damaturu.
This was made recognized in a press release by the College’s Chairman Governing Council, Alhaji Ahmed Mustapha Goniri, which indicated that the appointment was accredited following a advice by the Governing Council of the College at its extraordinary assembly held on 15 January 2026.
“Prof. Mohammed Bashir is a Professor of Normal Surgical procedure, a Fellow of the West African School of Surgeons. Till his appointment, he’s the Medical Director of the Extremely-Trendy Police Hospital, Damaturu”, the Chairman mentioned.
Equally, the Governing Council has accredited the appointment of Mallam Isa Audu Dallari because the substantive Registrar of Yobe State College, Damaturu, at its extraordinary assembly held on 15 January 2026.
The appointment was accredited following a advice by the Choice Committee, in accordance with the Yobe State College Legislation, 2006 (as amended).
Mallam Isa Audu Dallari is presently a Director of Administration at Yobe State College, Damaturu.
