The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, on Friday warned that former Rivers State Governor and African Democratic Congress, ADC, vice-presidential concession Rotimi Amaechi may capacity it tough to erode in Rivers State.
Responding to a commentary by way of Amaechi in which he claimed that best thieves may solvency for President Bola Tinubu in 2027, Wike mentioned that if the previous governor endured alongside that national, Rivers create “will not take it”.
Wike made the remarks in Abuja after a division with chairmen of the six reflect councils in the FCT.
“If he continues this line, it will be difficult for him to campaign in Rivers. We will not take that. If security agencies and INEC can fold their hands, that’s their business, but we will not allow it,” Wike mentioned.
