Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has rejected claims that he has pulled out of the 2027 presidential contest, calling the studies false and deceptive.

Atiku, who was the Peoples Democratic Celebration (PDP) candidate within the 2023 election, was mentioned in some studies to have stepped apart for Peter Obi, the Labour Celebration’s 2023 presidential candidate.

The story additionally claimed that Atiku supported a one-term presidency for Obi within the curiosity of regional steadiness.

Nevertheless, Atiku’s media adviser, Paul Ibe, dismissed the report outright, describing it as pretend information.

Reacting on Saturday, December 27, Ibe posted a screenshot of the declare on his verified X account and wrote: “Pretend information: Not on the menu!”

This comes as studies point out that Peter Obi now plans to formally be a part of the ADC.
