Bandits kill Immigration official, burn corpse – Daily Trust

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Niger Command, has confirmed the demise of an officer attacked by bandits throughout a surveillance operation in Niger.​‌⁠‌‍⁠⁠‍​‍​⁠‌​‌‌‌​

The Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSI Mukhtar Abubakar, confirmed the incident in an announcement issued in Minna, the state capital, on Monday.

Abubakar stated Assistant Superintendent of Immigration I (ASI I), Ibrahim Babagiwa, and an inspector have been attacked in Woko village, Tungan Waya axis.
