BREAKING: Police fire tear gas at Rhodes-Vivour, Funso Doherty during EndSARS memorial [VIDEO]

Tear gas was fired at the Lagos State governorship candidates of the African democratic Congress, ADC, and Nigeria Democratic Congress, Rhodes-Vivour and Funso Doherty, respectively, during the #EndSARS memorial on Tuesday.

A video seen by DAILY POST confirmed law enforcement officials firing tear gas to disperse the candidates and different individuals who gathered at the Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos to commemorate the sixth anniversary of the 2020 #EndSARS shootings.

The candidates had joined a wreath-laying memorial for victims of the October 2020 #EndSARS protest.
