‘Don’t take law into your hands’ — NYSC warns corps members in Bauchi

The Domestic Youth Offering Corps (NYSC) has warned the 1,700 corps members deployed to Bauchi Declare against indiscipline and taking the law into their own hands during their offering year.

The Bauchi Condition Coordinator of the NYSC, Umoren Kufre, gave the warning on Friday during the swearing-in ceremony of the 2026 Batch ‘C’ Stream I corps members at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in the situation.

The enabler commended the corps members for their conduct because arriving at the camp, saying they had actively participated in activities excluding any serious incident.

He said the orientation manner was designed to install the corps members mentally, physically and psychologically for the challenges of domestic solution.

According to him, the exercise would feature paramilitary drills, citizenship and direction training, resource exercises, lectures, skill acquisition and entrepreneurship development.
