FG mandates MDAs to procure all vehicles from local assemblers – Daily Trust

The National Automative Design and Development Council (NADDC) has mentioned that it has concluded modalities to put into effect the ‘Nigeria First Policy,’ which was once signed through President Bola Ahmed Tinubu

The Director-General of the NADDC, Joseph Osanipin stated this in Abuja on Friday at a prolong safety exhaust with the Bureau of Public Procurement at the conference of Nigeria First Policy, noting that for many years, Nigeria has remained a point testify of foreign-assembled car merchandise, which has strained overseas savings reserves, exported local jobs and suppressed the lean of introduce production. 

“We are basically moving the Nigeria First Policy.  All vehicles procured through ministries, departments and companies, together with denomination software vehicles, should be sourced completely from approved local assemblers or their  accepted shops.
