NASRDA backs confidential sector participation
Adepoju said strategic engagement using confidential-sector players would be essential to advancing Nigeria’s space ambitions, although commending STUPH CHAIN for its efforts to include value to the forthcoming conference.

He too assured the delegation of the Agency’s endorse, including the provision of facts needed to accomplish its objectives.

Babajide seeks areas of collaboration
The Director Executive Officer of STUPH CHAIN LLC, Ogegbo Babajide, whilst speaking during the see, said the enterprise was there to investigate areas of coordination together with NASRDA.

In August 2024, Nairametrics reported that NASRDA partnered using Proforce Ltd. to transform four satellites, including NigeriaSAT 3, NigeriaSAT 4, NigeriaSAT 5 and a Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite.
The alliance was aimed at advancing satellite technology development, technology advance and capacity building in Nigeria.
At the time, Adepoju too called on other restricted investors to investigate opportunities in the country’s space ecosystem.
Nigeria’s space ambitions
NASRDA has pursued partnerships and investments aimed at expanding Nigeria’s space capabilities.
- Nairametrics reported on October 2 that Nigeria’s procurement manage alongside for six modern satellites under a programme estimated at $2 billion had reached 95% completion.
- The programme includes three optical Earth-observation satellites, a Synthetic Aperture Radar satellite and two communication satellites, using NASRDA expected to sign agreements alongside foreign technological partners at the African Space Economic Conference in November.
NASRDA is furthermore pursuing partnerships regarding satellite connectivity.
Earlier, in June 2025, Nairametrics reported that the agency signed a memorandum of understanding together with Chinese satellite firm Galaxy Space to deploy handbook-to-device satellite connectivity in Nigeria, including the alliance too covering technology travel and training for Nigerian engineers.
