Gombe gov buys Dangote shares for 28,284 vulnerable women – Daily Trust

Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has launched N149 million for the acquisition of shares on the Dangote Refinery for 28,284 vulnerable women within the state.

A press release issued Thursday by the governor’s spokesman, Ismaila Uba Misilli, mentioned the cash is a part of counterpart funding for the state’s partnership with the Aliko Dangote Foundation (ADF), for vulnerable women to learn from a monetary empowerment programme.

Misilli mentioned Governor Yahaya authorised the state’s contribution to the programme, which covers the 11 native authorities areas of the state and seeks to advertise monetary inclusion, wealth creation and sustainable poverty discount.
