Ibadan: Hearth ravages 8 retailers in Sango

Ibadan: Hearth ravages 8 retailers in Sango

Hearth incident, on Monday, razed some retailers hooked up to Sango Divisional Police station.

No fever than eight retailers had been ravaged by the inferno, which destroyed properties value hundreds of thousands of naira.

Chairman, Oyo State Hearth Service, Hon Maroof Akinwande confirmed the event.

Akinwande in a press release made out there to DAILY POST on Monday stated that no life was misplaced within the incident.

He added that the operation was carried along side males of Federal Hearth Service.

He stated “Upon arrival, we met eight (8) out of eighty 4 (84) retailers engulfed by fireplace.

“Firemen promptly launched a coordinated assault on the blaze and restricted the hearth from spreading to different retailers.

“The firefighting operation was collectively carried with the officers from Federal Hearth Service, Ibadan Command”.
