
The Jigawa State Home of Meeting has handed the N901.841bn price range for 2026, approving Governor Umar Namadi’s proposal dubbed “Finances of Innovation and Transformation for Higher Jigawa II”.
The PUNCH On-line recalled that the price range, earlier introduced to the Meeting on November 25, 2025, focuses closely on capital initiatives (77%), schooling (over 26%), and agriculture, aiming to spice up growth within the state.
Speaker of the Jigawa State Home of Meeting, Aliyu Dangyatim, whereas asserting the passage of the price range throughout a plenary session on Tuesday, stated “the price range has been permitted as introduced, with a complete sum of N901.841 billion.”
In line with Aliyu Dangyatim, the price range allocation is strategic, with capital expenditure getting N693.4 billion.

The price range represents a 19.2% improve from 2025, exhibiting the state’s dedication to progress, Dangyatim stated.
