The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned that becoming a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) or overtly professing loyalty to President Bola Tinubu doesn’t robotically assure a second-term ticket.
Wike issued the warning on Tuesday whereas addressing supporters throughout a political engagement in Emohua Native Authorities Space of Rivers State, as a part of his ongoing consultations throughout the state.
The minister, who was acquired by the Chairman of Emohua Native Authorities Space, Chidi Lloyd, alongside conventional ruler Sergeant Awuse and different social gathering leaders, used the event to bolster his long-held place on political loyalty and agreements.
Addressing the gang, Wike pressured that the Ikwerre ethnic nationality should stay related in Nigeria’s political equation, warning in opposition to complacency or political marginalisation.
