Obi’s camp knocks Shettima over remark on NDC candidate – Daily Trust

The Peter Obi Media Office (POMR) has strongly condemned Vice President Kashim Shettima over disparaging remarks focused on the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, describing the Vice President’s feedback as an affront to political decency.

The response follows latest public statements by Shettima, who referred to Obi as “diminished” whereas concurrently calling on political stakeholders within the North to keep up respect towards opposition chief Atiku Abubakar.

In an announcement signed by POMR Spokesman Idris Zekeri Jnr, the media workplace questioned the vp’s double commonplace in demanding respect for one northern opposition chief whereas dismissively disparaging one other.
