Opposition kicks as APC declared winner of Kogi LG polls – Daily Trust

The Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC) has introduced that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) received all 21 chairmanship and 239 councillorship positions in Saturday’s native authorities elections.

The Chairman of KOSIEC, Mamman Nda Eri, introduced the official leads to the early hours of Sunday throughout a press convention on the Commission’s headquarters in Lokoja.

Nda Eri mentioned solely 12 political events have been cleared to contest the election throughout the 21 native authorities areas (LGAs) after satisfying statutory necessities.
