NEQA-UK’s consultant in Nigeria, Dr Nwoke Uwaoma, gave the reassurance throughout an interview with the Information Company of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.

He stated that though smartphones had develop into a serious supply of distraction for a lot of college students, the identical units might be used as efficient instruments for studying.

“We’re going to use their obsession to a bonus by bringing classroom work to them,” he stated.

He additionally urged extra qualitative training in Nigerian establishments.

Uwaoma expressed concern that some graduates may barely defend their certificates.

Uwaoma added that NEQA-UK can be open to collaboration with related authorities, instructional establishments and non-governmental organisations to realize the objectives.

Drawing from Prof. Norman Gronlund’s “Measurement and Analysis in Instructing” (1976), Uwaoma emphasised the significance of efficient analysis methods in studying.

He stated that NEQA-UK would use a mixture of reference and non-reference measurement standards to make sure qualitative training.

He additionally disclosed that the organisation deliberate to safe scholarships for Nigerians and companion with organisations to enhance training high quality.

“The progressive approaches embody leveraging telephones and digital instruments to reinforce studying, with incentives designed to spice up college students’ dedication to studying and educational excellence.”

Uwaoma hoped that the initiative would assist to revive college students’ curiosity in studying and studying.
