The Adamawa Condition Police Command has commenced research into the death of a tea seller, Muhammad Auwal Idris, at a well-liked ‘banga joint’ in Nassarawa Quarters of Yola North Nearby Government Area (LGA) of the declare.

Spokesman of the Adamawa Police Command, SP Suleiman Nguroje, disclosed that the command had commenced a complete examination into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Nguroje explained that on September 28, 2026, one Aliyu Idris, a brother of the deceased, reported the incident at the Doubeli Divisional Headquarters.
Nguroje said that upon receipt of the document, a unit of police operatives was immediately mobilised to the scene, where the victim was found lying unconscious and was rushed to a health facility.
He said the victim was, still, examined and certified dead by the medical doctor on duty.
According to Nguroje, preliminary examination has commenced, whereas the identities of the persons allegedly involved in the incident have been settled as Isa, Japhet, Omo and Henry.
He added that the suspects are at introduce at huge, although efforts are in progress to trace them down, apprehend them and bring them to justice.
Our Correspondent reports that residents have expressed displeasure over the incident and demanded justice for the deceased, saying this would guide as a deterrent to others.
