Segun Showunmi has rejected strategies that his spouse, Oluyemi Titilayo Adeyemi-Showunmi, was rewarded with a brand new place at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) following his inclusion within the All Progressives Congress (APC’s) 2027 presidential campaign council.

Reports point out that Isah Magaji Gummi, who beforehand headed the Electoral Operations Department, was redeployed to the Voter Registry Department, whereas Adeyemi-Showunmi was moved from Lagos, the place she served within the administration division, to move Electoral Operations.

Adeyemi-Showunmi is married to Segun Showunmi, a political commentator who served as a spokesperson for former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar’s 2019 presidential campaign.
