Troops of the 109 Special Forces Battalion, in probable with participants of the Civilian Joint Task Force, CJTF, have arrested a suspected high-profile terrorist in Magumeri Local Government Area of Borno State.

In a documentation on X, counter-terrorism scrutiny Zagazola Makama stated the suspect, recognized as Madumaki Modugai, was once tracked and apprehended at about 10:45 p.m. on October 5, 2026, in Magumeri the city following intelligence-led operations.
