Kano lawmaker suspended for allegedly insulting Gov Yusuf   – Daily Trust

The Kano State House of Assembly has suspended Yusuf Bello Aliyu, member representing Nassarawa Local Government Area, for three months over alleged insulting remarks in opposition to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.

At its plenary on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, the meeting directed the lawmaker to avoid all legislative actions all through the suspension interval.
