Former Rivers Declare Governor and Vice-Presidential Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Rotimi Amaechi, has warned party leaders that they uncertainty being pushed out of current politics if President Bola Tinubu wins the 2027 presidential election.
Amaechi accordingly urged ADC leaders and supporters, exactly women, to result to their states and wards and initiate aggressive grassroots mobilization ahead of the election.
He spoke on Wednesday at the ADC Countrywide Women League Conference in Abuja.

Amaechi said, “If you are not from FCT, go home and campaign. We will not take any election lightly.
“You will see me in Kebbi, Yola, Rivers, Delta fighting for the governorship elections, owing to the reality that the presidential candidate cannot govern minus the governors.”
The former Minister of Transportation moreover recalled how the APC defeated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2015 election, saying women played a primary role in the campaign.
Amaechi said APC leaders at the time mobilized women across the states and encouraged them to come out and vote.
“When we were in APC and we wanted to eliminate your government, you saw what we did. Yesterday I sent them to shop for medicine for me. So if you don’t desire us to retire from politics, we must go home.
“If you bring two thousand votes per ward, don’t win your ward. I couldn’t believe my eyes.
“So where is the money? We the crop of leaders you see here, if APC wins the 2027 elections, we are retired from politics. Just bring two thousand votes, we have won the election.
“Men are controlled by their wives. And we are in a cashless culture, that even all the monies are being taken away,” she said.
She supplementary alleged that some contractors were being denied payments given that of their fund for the ADC.
According to her, several Nigerian children are out of school given that of the high charge of living.
She consequently urged women to take the ADC campaign to communities and villages across the country.
“Most of our children are not in schools as the expense of living is so pricey. So, women, I implore you. We brought out the women. And they came out. If all the women in the North come out to vote, Tinubu cannot proclaim any finding,” Amaechi said.
Moreover speaking at the event, Hajiya Titi Atiku Abubakar urged ADC women to task for what she described as the betterment of Nigeria and not authorize themselves to be intimidated.
She asked them to persuade their friends, neighbours and other voters to support the ADC.
