Naija News reports that the DSS had reversed its earlier decision to pursue an adjournment of the in progress trial of Sowore till subsequent to the 2027 extensive election.

Reacting to the development in an interview using Arise News on Monday, Sowore stated there was no ground for the prosecution and called for the case to be dismissed.
He claimed the DSS thought he would be grateful to them and halt criticizing Tinubu, but when they realized he would not, they decided to continue including the case.
Sowore said, “They thought that by saying in continue August that they were no longer going to stay using my trial, I would be grateful to them and prevent criticising the President, according to them.
